Carolina is an adviser for research and innovation, and energy policy at BusinessEurope - with the Horizon Europe proposals currently her main duty. Prior to joining BusinessEurope, she worked for AFEP – the French Association of Large Companies – on a wide range of topics such as energy and climate, environmental issues, as well as consumer protection. Before that, she dealt with chemicals and occupational health and safety legislation at Shungham. Carolina holds a Master's degree in European affairs from the ULB Institute of European Studies in Brussels and a Bachelor's degree in international relations and diplomacy from the University of Trieste. She is fluent in English, French, Italian (her mother tongue) and understands Spanish.
