“Netherlands voted in support of solution-oriented politicians”

Commenting on the outcome of yesterday’s elections in the Netherlands, BusinessEurope President Emma Marcegaglia said:

“I see it as a positive signal that the Netherlands has voted in support of solution-oriented politicians. Polarising people and the use of anti-European rhetoric didn’t convince the large majority of Dutch voters. That’s an important message and encouraging in view of the upcoming elections in France and Germany”. The European business community sees the Dutch vote as an important signal for Europe.

We congratulate Prime Minister Mark Rutte on the result of the Dutch election.
