More competitiveness is needed for more growth and jobs

Speaking at the macroeconomic dialogue at political level in Brussels, Marcegaglia asked for fewer priorities and bolder actions, needed to improve competitiveness. She stressed that it is only through raising competitiveness that Europe can deliver more growth and jobs. Targeting the Italian EU Presidency, Marcegaglia emphasised the need to push forward an industrial compact, complete the single market, implement structural reforms, progress with growth-enhancing fiscal consolidation.
