Industrial competitiveness: how to respond to innovation challenges?
‘ The EU should put competitiveness first and urgently deliver on the growth and job agenda’, Deputy Director General Jérôme P. Chauvin said at the third industrial policy conference organised by LPK and the EESC in Vilnius. Turning more specifically to innovation in the EU, he stressed the need for rapid actions and a change of mindset to regain global leadership. He called for a true culture of innovation, encouraging reasonable risk-taking and supported by an ‘innovation principle’.
