European business needs efficient transport services

Europe is not yet fully connected, which prevents businesses from serving their customers properly. Completing the trans-European transport networks (TEN-T) is therefore crucial. Ensuring sufficient investment in future and existing infrastructure is a must, Markus J. Beyrer told João Aguiar Machado. This will increase mobility and facilitate trade flows. In particular, we want to see swift progress on key transport dossiers such as the 4th Railway Package and Single European Sky, the removal of remaining obstacles and improved interoperability of national transport networks.
