Energy policy discussed with top CEOs in Berlin

Beyrer discussed on-going transformation in the energy sector with Johannes Teyssen, CEO of E.ON SE; Jean-Bernard Lévy, CEO of EDF; Marek Woszczyk, President of PGE; and Maxim Timchenko, CEO of DTEK. Attending EURELECTRIC’s annual conference, Beyrer asked whether having European industrial power prices double of US prices is inevitable. No, if Europe starts phasing out add-on policy-driven costs. European first-class energy technologies are widely used in fast-growing and industrialising markets such as China and India, which he said is also a key challenge.
