BusinessEurope priorities for the Greek Presidency

BusinessEurope’s President Emma Marcegaglia, Director General Markus J. Beyrer and the Chairman of the Board of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) Dimitris Daskalopoulos met Antonis Samaras to present BusinessEurope’s priorities for the Greek EU Presidency. They asked the Presidency to focus on finalising or implementing recent decisions to restore competiveness, especially in six policy areas where they are essential to foster more growth and increase job creation: finalising decisions on the Banking Union and implementing structural reforms; strengthening industrial competitiveness; stepping up labour market reforms to boost employment; reassessing the approach to energy and climate policy; developing the Single Market; opening up new global market opportunities.
