BusinessEurope outlined priorities to Commissioner Bienkowska

President Marcegaglia and Director General Beyrer presented BusinessEurope's priorities for the next 5 years to Commissioner Bienkowska. Competitiveness has to be at the centre to boost jobs and growth. The single market plays a key role, it can still raise untapped potential if its rules are better applied. A coherent industrial policy approach to create a stronger industrial base and achieve at least 20% of industry´s share of GDP by 2020 is urgently needed. Reducing administrative burdens and boosting non-banking financing routes also is crucial for SME growth.
