Erik Berggren holds a law degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Prior to working at BusinessEurope, he worked at the European Commission on the implementation of EU environmental law and at Erasmus University Rotterdam where he researched European law and environmental liability law.  At BusinessEurope he worked on competition policy and environmental liability. He is currently working on accounting, financial affairs and better regulation policy. Erik’s mother tongue is Dutch and he is fluent in English, French and German.
