Anna Kwiatkiewicz is a senior adviser responsible for issues related to economic governance, social protection, and international cooperation in the framework of the Union for Mediterranean (UfM). Before joining BusinessEurope, Anna worked as Head of the Brussels office of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan, Permanent Delegate to BusinessEurope. Prior to this assignment, she worked as Director of the Employment and Social Affairs Department at the Polish branch of BPI Group. Anna used to combine her consulting job with academic career: between 1999 and 2011 she was a member of academic staff at the Warsaw School of Economics, and was lecturing at MA and postgraduate courses. She also worked as a post-doc researcher at the K.U. Leuven, Belgium (2013-2014). Anna holds MA and Ph.D. from Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and MA from the College of Europe, Bruges. She is Polish and speaks English and French fluently. She has a working knowledge of Russian.
