We call for a functioning, reliable and efficient cross-border transport system, EU-wide and high-quality infrastructure for all modes of transport and the full removal of barriers to cross-border transport and logistics services.

A well-functioning transport Single Market is a prerequisite for the free movement of goods, services, and people and key to connecting businesses, citizens and regions across Europe. Deepening the Single Market and ensuring resilient transport flows must play a key role in future EU transport policies.

BusinessEurope follows initiatives related to cross-sectoral policy measures affecting transport across borders, such as the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) and funding of transport infrastructure (Connecting Europe Facility), removal of barriers to cross-border transport operations and systems. We also follow policy discussions around multimodality.
