• Supporting EU actions that sustain political acceptance of mobility by closing regulatory loopholes and preventing abuse of free movement rules.
• Calling for a robust EU framework to attract and retain highly skilled migrants from outside the EU, including the role of a well-functioning EU talent pool and an improved EU legal framework for family reunification migrants.
• Addressing Europe’s skills shortages and demographic challenges by creating favourable conditions for talent from outside the EU and ensuring their smooth mobility within the EU.
