Research and innovation

Europe should become the best place to invest in research and development, successfully bringing innovative ideas to the market.
Europe should become the best place to invest in research and development, successfully bringing innovative ideas to the market.
To achieve this goal, we need a policy framework that allows European companies to develop and grow new ideas in Europe. One of our key areas of activity is to make sure that European research framework programs drive progress along the whole innovation chain.

As such, we prioritise EU funding for industrial competitiveness with a clear focus on achieving greener and more digital societies, securing the active engagement of the industry in R&I ecosystems and strengthening collaborative research projects.

To make it simpler for companies to take part in research and development, we stress the importance of having an educated, skilled workforce in Europe, easier rules, and shorter times for project granting.

By supporting these efforts, we ultimately contribute to Europe’s competitiveness, allowing businesses and new technologies to thrive in Europe.
