BusinessEurope Council of Presidents (CoPres) – Warsaw, November 2024
The BusinessEurope Council of Presidents (CoPres) met on November 29, 2024 in Warsaw upon the invitation of its Polish member, the Lewiatan Confederation.
A month before the start of the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union, the meeting participants reiterated their strong support for Ukraine, its people and their European ambitions. BusinessEurope also presented 10 postulates that should be implemented by the European Union institutions during the Polish presidency. They were presented during a meeting with Andrzej Domanski, Minister of Finance, and concern security and defense, energy and climate, the single market, innovation and digitization or investment, among others. The federation presidents also met with Polish President Andrzej Duda, as well as had a chance to exchange views with Sauli Niinistö, former president of Finland and special advisor to the President of the European Commission.
