Nils Elofsson — Junior Adviser

Nils joined BusinessEurope in January 2025 as Junior Adviser in the Social Affairs department. Before joining BusinessEurope, Nils completed a traineeship at the European Economic and Social Committee, where he worked with the Employers’ Group. He also worked for Svenskt Näringsliv, a BusinessEurope's member federation, and the American Chamber of Commerce to Sweden. His previous professional experience includes two years with a Swedish social welfare authority and internships at the Region of Värmland’s Brussels office and the democracy-promoting intergovernmental organisation International IDEA in Stockholm. A Swedish national, Nils holds a Bachelor’s degree in European studies from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and a double Master’s degree in European studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA) and the University of Gothenburg.
