Michela Vergani — Junior Adviser

In the economics department of BusinessEurope, Michela works on the European Competitiveness Fund and sustainable finance. Before joining BusinessEurope, she completed two traineeships in Brussels: at the European Association of Public Banks, where she focused on housing, sustainable finance, and cohesion policy; and at the Social Platform, where she worked on anti-poverty policies and the just transition. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Milan. She also completed exchange programmes at the University College Dublin and the University of Oslo. Italian is her mother tongue, she speaks English fluently, and she has an intermediate level of French and Spanish.
