Europe in the global economy

Speaking at the Business Forum of the annual Ambassadors conference of the German Foreign Office in Berlin, BUSINESSEUROPE President Emma Marcegaglia highlighted how a stronger and more competitive Europe can play a leading role in the world economy. To revive Europe’s industry successfully, she said, the EU needs a more comprehensive approach to industrial governance and concrete policy actions to be taken in several areas to increase competitiveness.
