The Fair Labour Mobility Package

Social policyMobility and migration

The European Commission is expected to present its Fair Labour Mobility Package in the third quarter of 2026. This initiative represents an important opportunity to strengthen labour mobility across the EU Single Market by reducing administrative burdens, simplifying procedures and improving the practical implementation of existing rules.

BusinessEurope, together with its member federation BDA and MEDEF, is organising a seminar dedicated to the upcoming package. It will focus on discussing business priorities ahead of the Commission proposal, including the role of digital tools, simplification of posting procedures, and better support for companies operating across borders.
