CETA: one year later

One year ago, the EU-Canada free-trade agreement (CETA) entered into force. It has abolished customs duties on 98% of the types of products the EU trades with Canada and saved EU businesses up to 590 million euros in a year – the amount they had to pay in tariffs on goods exported to Canada, according to the European Commission.
