The Social Affairs Committee sets the strategic direction for BusinessEurope’s work in the fields of employment and social affairs. It is the body responsible for adopting the positions prepared by the working groups under its competence. It follows the progress made in the EU member states in terms of implementation of labour market reforms. It also devises actions and oversees the negotiations in the context of the European social dialogue.
