Sofiya Yevchuk is Director of Communications, she joined BusinessEurope’s Communications Department as a Press and Media Adviser in 2016. Prior to this, she was leading strategic communications of the Brussels-based association of the textile and fashion industry. Sofiya has an extensive professional experience in corporate communications gained working in Brussels for Weber Shandwick - a global PR agency. She had a shorter professional involvement with the European Commission and the Canadian Parliament. Before this, Sofiya managed external communications of the Volyn University in Ukraine. Sofiya holds a degree in linguistics and has a second Master's degree in European studies from the College of Europe (Warsaw). Keen on languages, she is fluent in English, has a working proficiency in French and Italian and masters a few Slavic languages (Ukrainian, Polish and Russian).
